About Keli Leong, MS, LAc, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)

Picture
Keli Leong is a nationally certified acupuncturist licensed in the state of Washington. She earned her undergraduate degree from Columbia University and completed her acupuncture education and training at Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City where she graduated with honors.

Keli was first introduced to acupuncture as a student-athlete on the Columbia varsity softball team. She started experiencing chronic low back pain and worked closely with the team's athletic trainer where they were able to maintain a tolerable level of pain, thus enabling Keli to continue with the team's daily workouts and rigorous game schedule. But Keli's competitive nature meant she wanted to play pain-free. Although extremely skeptical at first, she decided to give acupuncture a try. Much to her surprise the treatments actually worked and Keli found she responded remarkably well to myofascial trigger point releases. With the help of acupuncture, she was able to have a successful softball career at Columbia setting several single-season and career program records along the way. Drawing from her experience as a competitive athlete and her fascination with acupuncture, Keli knew she could bring acupuncture to fellow athletes as a legitimate treatment option.

While Keli treats all types of patients she finds that athletes respond especially well to her acupuncture sessions, not only because of her treatment style, but also because she understands their mentality and what they want out of treatments. She knows that they aren't coming to her just to feel better, their priority is to get back on the field and engage in the sport they love while performing at their peak potential.

In her free time, Keli enjoys playing fastpitch softball, working out, golfing, snowboarding, and exploring the Greater Seattle Area food scene. She also volunteers as a fastpitch softball coach for the 14U Bellevue Blast.
